How to use lifting straps
To summarize the video and to start putting on your lifting straps:
- Slide one end of the long strap through the loop as if you're making a circle.
- Open your hands with palms facing up and slide the loop over your hand and place it on your wrist.
- Ensure that the end of each strap is facing in the direction of your thumb.
- Once you have them around your wrists, you are now ready to start using them.
To use your lifting straps:
- Hold one end of the strap with one hand and place it on the bar you will be lifting.
- Wrap the excess material in a twisting motion around the bar.
- You can allow the excess material to hang after one or two rotations around the bar.
- Secure the wrapped strap around the bar by placing your hand over the strap.
- To tighten, roll the strap so that it sits tightly against the bar.
